Writer Kay Mellor has created some of the most popular British dramas of the past 30 years, from Band of Gold and Fat Friends, to The Syndicate series.
She set up Rollem in 2000 and has written and produced over 100 hours of drama under the indie.
Kay remains at the heart of the company, driving new talent while continuing to write and create her own dramas.
Head of Development
Sian joined the Rollem team in 2011 and manages the diverse range of projects on the company's development slate, as well as identifying new ideas and writers for the company.
Assistant to Kay Mellor
Rosie previously worked for Leeds University Union. She joined Rollem in 2016 as PA to Kay Mellor and assists Kay in both her role as Managing Director and in her writing.
Rosie also joins Kay as a director's assistant when she is directing her work.
Rosie is the first point of contact for any enquiries about Kay, her writing and personal appearances.
Emily Rose Nabney
Emily joined Rollem in 2019 to assist with the company’s development slate.
As well as helping to develop existing projects and providing research support, Emily is responsible for sourcing new projects and writing talent.
Previously, Emily was development assistant at BBC Studios and assistant to the executive producers at Bonafide Films.
